When a Chesapeake family outgrew their cramped galley kitchen, we expanded into their underutilized dining room to create an entertainer’s paradise. The new design features dual islands (one for prep, one for serving), a wine fridge, and a custom backsplash that mimics the nearby Chesapeake Bay’s waves.
We maximized every inch with solutions like appliance garages, a walk-in pantry, and cabinets that extend to the ceiling for extra storage.
The Challenger
The old kitchen couldn’t handle holiday gatherings, with barely enough room for two people and outdated appliances.
The Result
Now, the family hosts effortlessly with a kitchen that includes zones for cooking, mixing drinks, and buffet-style serving—all while looking magazine-worthy.
